SICC 2015

The Assolombarda Congress Centre was chosen as head of the 40th SICC Congress held on 11th  and 12th June. The main theme of the congress was that of sustainability, meant as a balance  in the processes between the environment and the production capacity of human beings. Many international speakers addressed topics related to the following sessions, cosmetics, food and across different disciplines: innovation of ingredients, simplification of formulations and compositions, packaging, manufacturing processes and sustainable supply chains, effective communication, management and sustainable quality controls. 

The common issues of the conference with the themes of Expo 2015 are FOOD, ENERGY, PLANET, LIFE which represent a journey starting from the traditions up to the borders of the future. At the end of the congress, a day devoted to a series of “creative” events was held in the auditorium of Cascina Triulza, which followed the theme “training of the body as a tool of perception and measurement to better appreciate the environment and all technologies necessary to improve it “. All through a real sensory journey. The congress was also inserted in the schedule of the site of “Expo in Città” thus contributing to increase its visibility. Promoest coordinated the organization of the congress and of all its related logistical, social and entertaining initiatives, such as in particular the cocktail dinner for the participants, held in the beautiful terrace on the top floor of the Hotel dei Cavalieri.
