The Project
The event, thanks to the panel discussions, became a time for reflection and networking for all those involved in the Shipping industry that is evolving towards the 4.0 perspective.
Innovation, education, technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, sustainable future and energy transition-these are the words at the heart of Shipping 4.0. The goal is to continue the course taken by promoting initiatives, ideas and insights to improve the technological know-how and governance of this supply chain.
EU parliament
The project, which has been ongoing for two years, had its last stop at the European Parliament in Brussels on April 13, taking on a more European and increasingly strategic perspective of the sector.
At the Convengo, important speeches were made by MEP Marco Campomenosi and Liguria Region’s Councillor for Economic Development Andrea Benveduti . And finally, the opening of the proceedings supported by Edoardo Rixi, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Italy.
Bringing Italian demands to Europe also means this: raising awareness of know-how and projects in which our country is rich.
