Introduction
OnJune 11 and 12, 2025, the city of Verona hosted theeighth edition of IPCE (International Personal Care Excellence Conference), promoted by SICC – Società Italiana di Chimica e Scienze Cosmetologiche. This is a well-established and highly anticipated event, which again this year combined scientific rigor, quality training and moments of cultural enhancement and networking.
The now distinctive format offered an opportunity for young researchers to present their work through a poster selection, from which the most promising contributions were identified to be exhibited as Podium Lectures, alongside talks by internationally renowned magisterial speakers.
A model that focuses on intergenerational dialogue, knowledge sharing and strengthening the cosmetology scientific community.
The event
The two-day conference featured alternating scientific presentations, thematic discussions, and moments of confrontation, with a program rich in innovative and multidisciplinary content, fostering an open dialogue between academia, industry, and the scientific community, with ample room for discussion and updating on topical issues in the field of applied cosmetology.
On the evening of June 12, participants took part in an official dinner in the splendid setting of the Palazzo Verità Poeta, an elegant historic building in the center of Verona. The occasion allowed the exchange moments to continue in a convivial and prestigious setting.
On June 13, the event concluded with a unique cultural experience: participation in Giuseppe Verdi’s opera performance “Nabucco” at the iconic Verona Arena, a symbol of Italian artistic excellence. A memorable finale for an event that combines science, culture and beauty.
