The project
An international congress under the banner of scientific excellence and sustainability
In June 2025, Promoest oversaw the organization of the EurOMA 2025 conference, the most important European event dedicated to the world ofOperations Management, promoted by the European Operations Management Association. An event that brought together in Milan, at the Politecnico – Campus Bovisa, more than 750 delegates from more than 40 countries, for four days of discussion, sharing and scientific growth.
A global, low-impact event
In line with the values of environmental responsibility that Promoest promotes and shares with its clients, EurOMA 2025 was designed and implemented following environmental, social, and logistical sustainability criteria. Among the implemented actions:
Elimination of single-use plastics: all materials and media have been carefully selected, favoring plastic-free options
Badges made of recycled paper and optimized materials, minimizing unnecessary production
Calculation and monitoring of environmental impact, with an estimate of the CO₂ emitted during the entire event
Reducing food waste by partnering with food banks to recover uneaten food
Modular and reusable signage designed to be efficient, clear and environmentally friendly
These actions have made EurOMA 2025 a virtuous model of a sustainable conference, demonstrating how it is possible to combine organization, hospitality and respect for the planet.
Cultural experiences and networking
With more than 710 scientific papers accepted, EurOMA 2025 has been a must-attend event for academics, researchers and practitioners in the field.
The program consisted of:
3-day scientific conference
16 concurrently active parallel sessions each day
5 Special Sessions devoted to emerging issues
3 pre-conference workshops
All activities took place between the B8 and B9 buildings of the Politecnico di Milano, within modern and functional spaces configured to meet the needs of an event of international caliber.
Culture, networking and land development
In addition to the scientific part, Promoest curated moments dedicated to networking and cultural discovery of the city. The gala evening was held in a unique location: the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci,” preceded by an exclusive visit to the Galleria Leonardesca.
A moment that combined conviviality, beauty and historical Milanese identity.
On the final day, delegates were able to choose from a variety of experiential activities, including:
Visit to Milan Cathedral and its terraces
Technical tour at Polytechnic’s Wind Gallery
Industry visit to Davines Spa, a leading Italian company in sustainability and cosmetic innovation
