Two days dedicated to research, technological innovation, and the new frontiers of personalized medicine
On April 13 and 14, 2026,the De Carli Auditorium at the Bovisa Campus of the Politecnico di Milano hosted the 3rd ANTHEM Scientific Meeting on Project Progress, the annual scientific meeting organized by the ANTHEM Foundation – AdvaNced Technologies for Human-centrEd Medicine.
The event brought together approximately 200 participants, including researchers, representatives from academia, clinicians, institutions, and industry stakeholders, with the aim of sharing the results achieved, presenting the progress of the projects, and fostering discussion on the future prospects of research in health-related technologies.
The two-day event focused on the progress of the 28 pilot projects promoted and supported by the ANTHEM Foundation, which are organized into the program’s four major research areas and coordinatedby the University of Bergamo,the University of Milan-Bicocca, the Polytechnic University of Milan, and the University of Catania.
Projects, Pilot Programs, and New Prospects
The program devoted considerable time to updates on the Foundation’s projects and various pilot initiatives, giving the working groups the opportunity to present their achievements, ongoing activities, and plans for the next phases.
The comparison of the various research areas has fostered a shared vision of the path we have embarked upon and has made it possible to identify new points of intersection between expertise, technologies, and applications.
The poster session, which was also open to recipients of the Cascata calls for proposals, played an important role. This session enriched the program by creating a space for direct dialogue between researchers and participants and by highlighting projects, methodologies, and scientific findings.
Promoest supported the ANTHEM Foundation in managing the various organizational phases, handling administrative and financial matters, the registration website, guest management, and operational coordination throughout both days.
The team also oversaw the production and distribution of badges, lanyards, and conference kits, as well as the setup of the exhibition space, signage, roll-up banners, poster stands, and the press room.
Special attention was given to the simultaneous interpretation service, designed to make the presentations fully accessible to international guests as well and to ensure smooth participation in all sessions.

From scientific content to networking
On the evening of April 13, the program continued at the Chiostri della Società Umanitaria, one of the most evocative historic settings in downtown Milan.
Guests were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the Chiostro dei Pesci, followed by a buffet dinner in the Salone degli Affreschi. The evening provided a more informal setting, designed to encourage conversation, strengthen the relationships formed during the sessions, and create new networking opportunities.
The event thus combined scientific content, organization, and networking, creating a well-rounded experience for all participants.
