MSI EMEA – Rome 2024

The project

Each year, the MSI EMEA event brings together a prestigious cluster of lawyers and accountants from all corners of the world. This year, from May 16-18, 2024, the convention took place in the magnificent and timeless city of Rome.

The goal of the convention is twofold: to inform and educate while creating strong, synergistic relationships among participants, thus ensuring lasting success.

The convention

The choice of location fell on the NH Collection Vittorio Veneto Hotel, located in the heart of the Parioli district and within walking distance of the beautiful Villa Borghese Park. During the two-day meeting, participants took part in numerous sessions, including the Board meeting, the new members meeting, and an all-female meeting, “Empowering Women.” After lunch, the 200 participants gathered in the Plenary Hall to officially kick off the convention.

The next day saw alternating plenary and satellite meetings on specialized topics, such as “Mergers & Acquisitions,” “Audit & Accounting,” and a focus on the “Technology” area.

Networking and relaxation

Not only business meetings, but also numerous social and recreational events enriched the program. On the first evening, participants enjoyed an informal dinner on the terrace of the Grand Hotel Flora, located on the 7th floor with a breathtaking view of Rome at sunset. The evening continued with a plated dinner in the indoor hall.

The gala dinner was held at Casina Valadier, a unique 19th-century location within the Villa Borghese park that embodies Rome’s thousand-year history. The carefully planned dinner offered a menu that combined Roman culinary traditions with a modern twist.

Companion program

In parallel with the convention program, accompanying guests had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive experience organized for the day on Friday.

The program included a fascinating mosaic-making workshop, held in a historic and evocative location: the Domitian Stadium, located near Piazza Navona. Immersed in the unique atmosphere of this ancient Roman site, chaperones were able to try their hand at the age-old art of mosaics, creating unique and personal works.

The day ended with a typical lunch, where participants enjoyed the delights of Roman cuisine, followed by some shopping in nearby boutiques for those who wished to take home a memento of this unforgettable experience.

Walking tour and closing

The last day of the event saw guests participate in a walking tour of the city, led by experts in the field. Participants toured Rome’s major sites, concluding with a delicious traditional Roman lunch at a restaurant near the Colosseum.

The MSI EMEA 2024 event in Rome once again demonstrated how the combination of education, networking and cultural discovery can create an unforgettable experience for all participants.
