PNI National Innovation Award 2023

The Project

The National Innovation Award selects the best innovative enterprise projects and regional Start Up winners each year. It is co-organized jointly by PNICube, Regione Lombardia and MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action and Promoest srl. This year it took place at Palazzo Lombardia on November 30 and December 1.

Revolutionary ideas

The Palazzo Lombardia proudly hosted the PNI 2023 event, a unique occasion where 71 startups from all over Italy were able to present their revolutionary and innovative ideas.

This summit was attended by high-profile institutional figures, including the President of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana, the Lombardy Regional Councilor for Economic Development. Guido Guidesi, as well as PNICube President and Delegate for Enterprise Development, Startups and Spinoffs University of Rome Tor Vergata Paola M. A. Paniccia, MUSA President, Rector of Milan-Bicocca University and CRUI President. Giovanna Iannantuoni, , the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy. Adolfo Urso and many other prominent figures.

Their interest and support for startups added significant value to the entire event, underscoring the crucial role that innovation plays in economic and social growth, solidifying its status as an event of national significance.

The experience

The startups, carefully selected for their excellence and innovation, had the opportunity to showcase their projects during the two-day event. Each booth represented a concentration of creativity and entrepreneurial endeavor, offering attendees a broad overview of the new frontiers of technology and innovation.

Each booth was a small universe in itself, reflecting the identity and innovation of the startup it represented. Interactive presentations, live demonstrations and networking opportunities made the event a crucial meeting point for investors, entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts.

The high-quality catering helped create a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, fostering informal conversations and networking opportunities. The ad hoc accreditation platform simplified the registration process, ensuring a steady flow of participants during both days of the event.

The results

In conclusion, PNI 2023 was a triumph of innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurial engagement. The Lombardy Region, MUSA and PNICube together with Promoest and the 71 participating startups demonstrated their commitment to supporting and promoting the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Looking ahead, we hope that this success will continue to stimulate the growth and development of our country’s startups.
